Read More »Rather than using these phrases, in piano lessons, teachers should encourage students to say “EGBDF” as if it were a tongue twister. How quickly can you say “EGBDF”? EGBDF gets you there (to the note you are reading) much quicker. And in the left hand, GBDFA is almost like “Jibidy FA” — GBDFA.
