We all have different attributes that we find attractive in others: You might be drawn to someone's piercing blue eyes, or perhaps you're simply dazzled by their smile and wit. Attractiveness is certainly subjective, but there's no denying that some people just tend to turn heads more than others. And that isn't just about looks. What you might not realize about the most captivating individuals is how much their personality comes into play, with certain Myers-Briggs types considered the most attractive of all. "Simply explained, an attractive personality refers to a person who is pleasing and charismatic not only in terms of his or her physical appearance but also with regard to manners and behavior," Nereida Gonzalez-Berrios, MD, certified psychiatrist of ThePleasantPersonality, tells Best Life. "An attractive person is comfortable deep inside with no hint of insecurity to be seen from the outside. Moreover, they are humble and gentle, smart and talented in diverse ways." The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a self-assessment that uses four dichotomies to classify you as one of 16 different personality types. Created by Isabel Briggs Myers and her mother, Katherine Briggs, the test can reveal things you didn't know about yourself or the people in your life. By answering a series of questions, you'll understand whether you lean toward Extraversion (E) or Introversion (I); prefer to use Sensing (S) or Intuition (N) when interpreting information; make decisions by Thinking (T) or Feeling (F); and are more Judging (J) or Perceiving (P) when you face the outside world. Personality tests aren't a perfect science, but the MBTI is certainly fun—and often surprisingly on point. With that in mind, experts believe that it truly can identify people who tend to be more physically and emotionally appealing. Read on to find out which five Myers-Briggs types are the most attractive.

ESTP

People who are extroverted, sensing, thinking, and perceiving are likely to catch your eye, experts say. These people are fun and adventurous, and that spirit will lure you in and keep you wanting more. "They are extroverted, easing the burden on the other person to carry on the conversation," Shashank Verma, co-founder of dating website Reboot Love Life, says. "This type is known to be funny, which is directly proportional to being attractive."

An ESTP craves competition and will want to explore their physical limits as well, according to Simply Psychology. They like to stay fit and tend to be athletic, preferring team sports or "risky or adventurous activities" such as boxing. ESTPs are always living in the moment, and their outgoing nature is alluring for potential romantic partners, Megan Harrison, LMFT of Couples Candy, explains. "They're typically good at communicating and making others feel comfortable, which can make them even more attractive," she says.

ISFP

Introverted, sensing, feeling, and perceiving people are captivating, thanks in large part to their personal style. According to Personality Growth, the way ISFPs dress is often unconventional, which can be interpreted as "eccentric or odd." However, people with this personality type aren't dressing for others, they're dressing for themselves, and this confidence paired with their trendsetting abilities is magnetic. Gonzalez-Berrios agrees that ISFPs don't fit the typical mold when it comes to personality. "ISFPs are rare introverts because they typically do not fit into introversion fully," she says. "They are attractive because of their creative and daring nature." They enjoy spending time on their own just as much as they do meeting new people, but when they are interacting with others, they tap into their sensing and feeling abilities. Gonzalez-Berrios notes that ISFPs "can read people's emotions subtly" and can sense when a friendly approach is needed. "These individuals are caring and considerate, sensing and empathetic," Gonzalez-Berrios adds. "These qualities make them socially attractive and accepting to others easily."

3

ENFP

When it comes to physical attractiveness, ENFPs lead the pack. According to Harrison, people with this personality type like to stay active and "tend to be very physical people." They're the ones who might suggest a hiking or salsa dancing date or getting up for an early morning yoga class. "They generally have an easy time maintaining their physical appearance and keeping up with trends," Harrison tells Best Life.

ENFPs are the social butterflies who you'll see chatting with everyone, but they're not cocky, according to Gonzalez-Berrios. "They are humble and compassionate and are liked by others. Their energy is contagious," she says. Add in ENFPs' optimistic and creative nature, and you've got one appealing personality. "This combination of traits makes ENFPs not only physically attractive but also emotionally engaging to partners," Harrison adds.

4

ISFJ

People who are introverted, sensing, feeling, and judging can also draw you in, and you'll probably become even more attracted to them if a relationship develops. According to Sameera Sullivan, matchmaker and relationship expert, ISFJs are skilled when it comes to intimacy and will be "attentive to your needs in bed." These types also tend to lean towards perfectionism, which is reflected in their appearance, according to Personality Growth. ISFJs will "keep themselves very well maintained, and spend a decent amount of time on their physical appearance." ESFP

Rounding out the list of attractive personality types are ESFPs. These people are charming and extroverted, but they also consider how they present themselves physically to the world. "They are attuned to what is trendy and popular, willing to modify their appearance accordingly," according to Personality Junkie. "Glitz, glamour, perfume, jewelry—all are a part of the ESFPs' repertoire." Thanks to their sensing nature, ESFPs have a sense of adventure that translates to their appearance, so they'll want to experiment when it comes to fashion and style. Gonzalez-Berrios adds that ESFPs "are born entertainers," but that's not to say they're narcissistic—quite the opposite, in fact. "ESFPs are excited and love to take others along the adventurous journey they have embarked upon," she says. "They are joyful, full of laughter and fun. This quality makes them attractive in the public eye."
