Read More »We all have different attributes that we find attractive in others: You might be drawn to someone's piercing blue eyes, or perhaps you're simply dazzled by their smile and wit. Attractiveness is certainly subjective, but there's no denying that some people just tend to turn heads more than others. And that isn't just about looks. What you might not realize about the most captivating individuals is how much their personality comes into play, with certain Myers-Briggs types considered the most attractive of all. "Simply explained, an attractive personality refers to a person who is pleasing and charismatic not only in terms of his or her physical appearance but also with regard to manners and behavior," Nereida Gonzalez-Berrios, MD, certified psychiatrist of ThePleasantPersonality, tells Best Life. "An attractive person is comfortable deep inside with no hint of insecurity to be seen from the outside. Moreover, they are humble and gentle, smart and talented in diverse ways." The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a self-assessment that uses four dichotomies to classify you as one of 16 different personality types. Created by Isabel Briggs Myers and her mother, Katherine Briggs, the test can reveal things you didn't know about yourself or the people in your life. By answering a series of questions, you'll understand whether you lean toward Extraversion (E) or Introversion (I); prefer to use Sensing (S) or Intuition (N) when interpreting information; make decisions by Thinking (T) or Feeling (F); and are more Judging (J) or Perceiving (P) when you face the outside world. Personality tests aren't a perfect science, but the MBTI is certainly fun—and often surprisingly on point. With that in mind, experts believe that it truly can identify people who tend to be more physically and emotionally appealing. Read on to find out which five Myers-Briggs types are the most attractive.
