I wasn’t all that familiar with them beforehand but it quickly became my absolute favorite crafting tool. Well, my old Silhouette Portrait has served me well but I have been eager to upgrade to a more powerful cutting machine for a while now. When Cricut reached out about working together on some Cricut Maker projects, my level of excitement matched a little kid on Christmas morning. This machine has been at the top of my wishlist for over a year so sorry Santa, but Cricut beat you to it! I’ve been busy testing out the capabilities of the Cricut Maker and have some fun project tutorials for you, but first I wanted to share a quick overview of what the Cricut Maker is and what materials it cuts.
