After a few weeks (and likely a few consultations of the Guinness record holders for longest name) “Rhoshandia…’s” parents filed an amendment and added many, many letters to form the lengthy moniker above. Because of this, her birth certificate was over two feet long, which included her 36-letter middle name. Her name is so long, in fact, that when she was on the Oprah Winfrey show, they had to create a brand new, special scrolling graphic to fit all the letters on the screen. However, when you search the Guinness World Records site for the person with the longest name, it’s actually not hers that comes up.
