Read More »When this came out in 2016 it was easily the best on the market and was heavily used by instructors and students. This is another program that has in-app purchases. I, myself, am not a fan of these because they get pushed on you when you might not be wanting to pay. Overall, I recommend Simply Piano to students and beginner players looking to learn. It really will help your technique and performance skills. The one thing that I don’t like with this again is the in-app purchases. This is similar to Magic Piano, only I think this is considerably better and easier to use. If you have used the Magic Piano, I recommend trying this one out as a lot of people seem to prefer this over it. Overall, this is a fun program to use for keeping yourself entertained with maybe a pair of headphones on an airplane. You can show your kids how to use this and it will definitely keep them entertained and having fun. It is very easy to use and it allows you to play to all of your favorites at the point of a finger. New songs are uploaded every week to keep fresh content and to keep you coming back for more. Overall I think this is entertaining and it will definitely help you learn songs that you want to. However, you’re not going to be learning technique and other skills from this.
