Unlike retiring rooms where you have to pay to stay in a particular room, you can use the waiting rooms and their services without any cost. They are meant for all the passengers and are served on a first come first served basis. You will only be able to stay at a waiting room if you have a reserved ticket and this facility of the waiting room is only meant for passengers which are to deport from a particular station. If you arrived at a station through the train, then you won’t be able to use the waiting rooms, but retiring rooms is an option if they are available at that station.
