Background

Disable or Enable Hotkey Mapping

For Receiver users, import the "icaclient.adm" template into Active Directory and then propagate it to the clients. Using the GPO (policy) option with the "icaclient.adm" template file that comes with the installation or download package, go to the following path to configure the hotkey: Note: For change of legacy 10.1 behavior, you must modify the client configuration settings to change the hotkey mapping of Shift+F11. Caution! Refer to the Disclaimer at the end of this article before using Registry Editor. Edit the registry or distribute a .reg file to set the following registry value:

Value Name: F11

Value: 0 (set to 0 (zero) to disable)

This behavior has been reverted in Receiver/Plug-in (Citrix Client) versions 10.214, 10.223, 10.225, 10.230, 11.x, 12.x so that the default behavior when pressing Shift+F11 no longer minimizes the session; instead, the key sequence is passed to the session.
