Perfect Piano™ for iOS Is One of the Best Free Music Apps Available Whether you’re musically inclined or dabbling with the thought of learning something new, Perfect Piano is a great way to bring this fantastic musical instrument to your iPhone and iPad. Loaded with as many features as a high-end instrument, you’ll be able to learn and play wherever you go. If you’ve ever considered taking music lessons, well aware of how expensive they can be. Plus, you have to factor in scheduling, cost of transportation, and other factors. What if there was a fantastic way to eliminate all of that in practice when and where you want? Perfect Piano allows users to do just that, and it’s so much more than a virtual piano app. When I first opened Perfect Piano, I immediately took notice of how well-organized the interface is. Many musical apps have a tendency of being clunky and difficult to navigate, but Perfect Piano definitely doesn’t follow this trend. Perfect Piano is incredibly beginner friendly and offers a comprehensive “Learn to Play” feature, which allows budding pianists to learn new songs within the app. This is accomplished through a variety of modes, such as watching and listening and following along. Flexibility is key when it comes to teaching music to someone, and I really like the fact that Perfect Piano caters to those who learn by watching and those who learn by doing. Unlike many other free music apps, Perfect Piano includes an extensive repertoire of songs without having to purchase additional upgrades. This means users won’t have to worry about playing the same song over and over again. If you’re looking for a way to practice songs on the go, Perfect Piano also offers a free play mode. This is where you can let your creativity shine, play a variety of instruments, and even record songs to save and share with friends and family. Perfect Piano even lets you customize how keys are displayed on the screen, and there’s also a two player mode, which is something I’ve personally never come across in another music app. I was truly amazed with how much Perfect Piano really offers, especially seeing as the app is free to download. It’s worth mentioning that there is a VIP subscription, which allows you to access even more instruments, as well as an online database of songs. Subscription prices range from $0.99 for one week to $5.99 for one year of VIP access. All in all, Perfect Piano is definitely a must have iPhone and iPad app if you’re a music enthusiast. It’s loaded with fantastic features and both beginners and experienced players alike. Perfect Piano requires iOS 7.1 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone 5, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus. A small fee was paid by the developer for publication of this review
