B Major Scale

B – C♯ – D♯ – E – F♯ – G♯ – A♯ – B are the notes of the B major scale. Notes of the B Major Scale on a piano keyboard and in ascending order on a staff:

B Major Key Signature

The key signature of B major scale has 5 sharps: F♯, C♯, G♯, D♯ and A♯. B major scale is the relative major of G sharp minor scale. B major and G sharp minor scales have the same sharp key signature.

B Major Diatonic Chords

These are the seven major scale diatonic chords that come from the B major scale.

I. B – D♯ – F♯ (B major chord)

ii. C♯ – E – G♯ (C Sharp minor chord)

iii. D♯ – F♯ – A♯ (D Sharp minor chord)

IV. E – G♯ – B (E major chord)

V. F♯ – A♯ – C♯ (F Sharp major chord)

vi. G♯ – B – D♯ (G Sharp minor chord)

viiº. A♯ – C♯ – E (A Sharp diminished chord)
