Learn More »In our experience, no. To write our Yousician review, we signed up for the monthly premium plan for $19.99 and when we got our invoice, it was for $19.99. Here's a screen shot of the invoice in our email account, just for proof: Overall, Yousician does a great job of making it easy to sign up, pay for, and cancel your subscription. Throughout the process, we were pretty surprised at how simple and straightforward everything was. It's also just nice to have a bill for exactly what you expected to pay. What about Yousician promotional pricing? We've only been on Yousician's mailing list for a little over two months now, which didn't overlap at all with the holiday season. During that time we haven't seen anything come through in the way of promotional pricing. They're also not quick to divulge that kind of information over email (we've asked). When we can get wind of any coupons or promotional offers that are regularly offered by Yousician, we'll update this article and mention them here. If you know of any or have experience getting a promotional price, let us know in the comments section. Does Yousician offer a Free Trial? Yes. Yousician will let you try a Premium membership for seven days before having to pay. At that point, you have the option to pay and keep your premium account or upgrade to the Premium Plus account. You'll have to choose a single instrument (since only the Premium Plus version gives you access to all the instruments) but from their you'll have access to all of the content you would in a paid Premium membership Other Yousician Resources Yousician is a younger program in the online music education world, having started much more recently than other programs we've covered like Guitar Tricks and JamPlay. But they're a solid resource and a fun spin on the traditional method of learning music online, especially helpful for beginners or those who just want to dabble in one, or perhaps multiple instruments.
