The function keys or F keys are lined across the top of the keyboard and labeled F1 through F12. These keys act as shortcuts, performing certain functions, like saving files, printing data, or refreshing a page. For example, the F1 key is often used as the default help key in many programs. The F5 key is used in an Internet browser to refresh or reload a web page. The function of these keys can differ with each operating system and software program.

If you work with Microsoft Excel on a regular basis, you know that it has a ton of keyboard shortcuts that can make your life a lot easier. One of the most useful shortcuts is Ctrl+Alt+F9, which allows you to quickly recalculate all the formulas in your worksheet. In this article, we'll show you how to use this shortcut and explain what it does. When you enter a formula into a cell in Excel, the program automatically calculates the result based on the values in the other cells that are referenced by the formula. However, sometimes the cells that are referenced by the formula are changed, which can cause the result of the formula to change as well. In order to make sure that the result of your formula is always up-to-date, you can use the Ctrl+Alt+F9 shortcut to recalculate all the formulas in your worksheet. To use this shortcut, simply press Ctrl+Alt+F9 on your keyboard. You'll see the formulas in your worksheet recalculate, and the results will update in the cells. This shortcut is particularly useful when you're working with a large worksheet with many formulas, as it can save you a lot of time. It's important to note that the Ctrl+Alt+F9 shortcut only recalculates the formulas in your worksheet. It doesn't update any other values, such as those that are entered manually or imported from another source. If you need to update all the values in your worksheet, you can use the Ctrl+Alt+F5 shortcut instead. So there you have it! The next time you need to recalculate all the formulas in your Excel worksheet, be sure to use the Ctrl+Alt+F9 shortcut for a quick and easy way to do it.
