Hi all,

Long slender fingers looks super sexy and pretty rings look even prettier on them. However, at times the fingers look too fat and pudgy. This depends a lot on the genes and overall health. However, there are a few things that you can do to get sexy, slim fingers. In this post, I will tell you about 10 amazing diet and exercise tips that will help you to get the beautiful, long fingers.

1. Do Finger Stretch

This is a very basic exercise that you can do at any time of the day. You will have to place your hand palm-down on a table and then straighten your fingers as flat as you can against the surface without forcing your joint. You can release the hold after 30 to 60 seconds and repeat it for at least four times with each hand.

2. Grip Exercise

This makes your fingers stronger and better. You will need a squeezy ball for this exercise. You can also use a tennis ball instead. Squeeze the ball in your palm and hold for 2-3 seconds each time before releasing. Do 15-20 times with each hand and repeat the set for 2-3 times. You can do this 2-3 times a week giving a rest of around 48 hours between each day of exercise.

3. Claw Exercise

This makes the fingers slim and more flexible. You should stretch out the fingers and then try to touch the base of the fingers with the tips. Hold this claw pose for 40-50 seconds and then release.

4. Finger Lifting

You will have to place your hand palm-down on a table and then straighten your fingers as flat as you can like you did for the first time. Lift one finger at a time and put it down after 1-2 second hold. You may try lifting all at once. Repeat this for 12-15 times in each hand.

5. Thumb Extension

You will need a rubber band for this exercise. Put your hand flat on a surface and wrap a rubber band at the finger joint area. Now stretch your thumb outward, at a ninety degree angle keeping the hand flat on the surface. Hold this for 30-60 second and bring it back to initial position. Repeat this for 10-15 times in each hand.

6. Flex the Thumb

Stretch away the thumb from your other fingers as far away as possible. Now try to touch the tip of your thumb at the base of your small finger. Hold it for 30-60 seconds and go back to the first position. This makes your thumb very flexible and it looks slimmer and slender.

7. Try Finger Push Up

This sounds very tough but you can definitely try. Instead of doing push up on your palm, try to raise your weight on the finger tips. This is really difficult, but you will be able to do it if you keep working on your push ups.

8. Work on Dexterity

Use your fingers to do complex, quick activities. Try to type as many words as possible within 5 minutes, try playing piano or guitar or even a flute. These will make your fingers stronger, reduce risks of fat deposition and will definitely improve your motor skills.

9. Play with Plasticine Clay

Molding the clay in dough and giving shapes allows you to use your finger to create pressure. The fun activity actually helps you to keep the fingers active and burn some calorie from that area.

10. Do Household Chores

If you do not want to play with artificial clay, make dough with real flour. Squeezing the excess water out of your wet clothes, cooking, potting plants help you to get flexible, slim and slender fingers. Along with practicing these exercises, try to opt for low-sodium diet to reduce fluid retention in the finger area. A balanced diet, healthy lifestyle and these exercises together can help you to get the much desirable beautiful fingers.
