Ed Sheeran plays at least 5 musical instruments. He is an accomplished musician, playing a variety of instruments both solo and with other artists. His musical talent is evident in his Grammy-winning albums and his sold-out world tours. Sheeran’s musical repertoire extends beyond just the guitar. He can also play the piano, bass, drums, and cello.

It may be hard to believe but during his childhood, Ed Sheeran had difficulty learning musical instruments. Beginning with a paper trumpet at a party when he was a toddler, he moved on to piano, cello, and finally guitar.

Ed Sheeran started playing the guitar at a young age, and his skills have only grown since then. He is known for his unique strumming style and finger-picking techniques. He usually uses 3/4 size guitars, particularly Martin LX1 model guitars, which he has a number of signature models including the new Martin Ed Sheeran Divide Signature Edition Guitar.
