Love Island star Amy Hart has been giving fans an insight to her time on the show, including what happens when the girls get their period. The 29-year-old appeared on the ITV2 dating show in 2019 and has been open about giving fans behind-the-scenes details about the show on TikTok. In one video, which has over 5 million views, Amy answered a question about what happens when your period arrives in the villa. Amy said: "I've had this so many times in all the comments. She explained that it would be a similar scenario to menstruating on holiday, you just have to "get on with it". "We just get on with it, like you would do if you're on holiday," she added. Amy admitted she had tried to make sure she wouldn't hit her time of the month while filming. She revealed that before the cameras started filming, she spent eight weeks losing weight as she "thought" she "needed to do that to be attractive".
