In addition to converting acoustic pianos to player pianos, QRS can also convert existing player pianos to wireless technology with the PNOmation upgrade. With the upgrade, a player piano will be able to be accessed with any wireless-enabled device such as your phone, tablet, Alexa, or Apple Watch. QRS PNOScan

The QRS PNOScan is a system that turns an acoustic piano into a MIDI recording device. MIDI is a protocol that allows electronic instruments, computers, and audio devices to communicate with each other. In essence, PNOScan gives an acoustic piano recording capabilities that would ordinarily only be available with an electronic keyboard. Its optical recording technology records key presses on the piano, so there is no maintenance-intensive mechanical component like other recording devices use.

The piano will need to be brought into the shop, because the conversion process involves cutting into the piano which can create sawdust and get a little messy. We can come pick up the piano from your house and bring it to our shop, and return it when the process is complete.
