Start with songs that are at your current level and gradually challenge yourself to play harder songs as you progress. 7. Be willing to make mistakes

Mistakes are a part of learning. Don’t feel embarrassed if you make mistakes or if a song or skill is difficult for you to learn. Most piano teachers don’t mind if you make mistakes because it shows you are trying. They want to help you improve. 8. Celebrate improvements
