All of this is just a long way of saying that you are NOT too old to learn piano. It doesn't matter if you're 16 or 64 or 90. I've never met a hopeless case. And playing piano (or any musical instrument) is wonderful for the aging brain.

One question that I’m asked again and again is, “Am I too old to learn piano?” Or, if they’re not specifically asking me if I think they’re too old, they express concern about their advancing age getting in the way of learning an instrument. I have to laugh sometimes. I’ve received these questions from teenagers! Teenagers! If you’re 16 and you want to learn piano, do it! You’re a young spring onion. Go get ‘em.
